Harney County Arts in Education Foundation

"Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world." ~ Albert Einstein

Mission Statement

The Harney County Arts in Education Foundation, a non-profit organization,

was founded to promote, maintain, enhance, enrich and improve the

opportunities for growth and achievement in the areas of music education,

performing arts, visual arts and theater arts for the schools and

communities in Harney County.

For this purpose, the foundation will continue to provide much needed support to music and arts programs in the school districts and communities in Harney County.

The arts have been a vital and unifying part of our community for over 100 years. The continued state budget constraints which results in a lack of school funding directly affect the quality of our children’s education.

Students in Harney County deserve the opportunity to expand their horizons from the exposure, appreciation and performance of music and the visual arts.

The HCAEF has expanded this vision to include a Performing Arts & Education Center for our schools and communities to improve the opportunities for growth and achievement in the arts

Harney County Arts in Education Foundation is a not-for-profit organization, tax exempt under IRC Sec. 501(c)(3), EIN 26-2702013.
